My Experience

I’m running because I believe I can help. I bring over 15 years of experience as an educator at Portland State University, where I teach, mentor, and collaborate within a large public institution. I also have more than two decades of leadership across a variety of organizations—experience that’s given me a strong foundation in budgeting, financial oversight, strategic planning, and community engagement. I’ve worked through tough transitions, managed competing priorities, and helped organizations move from crisis to stability. In Corbett, my connections with the community come from hands-on involvement: I volunteer weekly at my children’s school, help with school projects, and coach in Corbett Youth Sports. These connections give me a grounded understanding of our district’s day-to-day realities and long-term needs. I’m not coming in with a personal agenda—I’m here to listen, collaborate, and serve. I’m ready to bring steady, practical leadership to help Corbett schools restore financial stability, move forward, and thrive.
